The dictionary defines a “missionary” this way: A person who is sent on behalf of another, to a foreign place, to act and do something on behalf of the one who sent them. The same dictionary defines the word “position” as: A persons stated attitude on a matter in question.

The simple truth is that there are perhaps no two better words in the english language to describe the mission of God and the church in this world. Missionary position is not what you think…it’s better, and God calls all of us to take this same position towards the lost and broken world around us.
